Health Risk Assessments
The HRA is the first component of your wellness program, conducted on-site at your location. During the HRA we'll first conduct personal health assessments, evaluating lifestyle factors including exercise, eating habits, sleep patterns, stress and medical history. The clinical assessment will measure blood pressure, waist circumference, height and weight, body fat percentage, and BMI. This portion of the HRA also includes labs to measure HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, glucose, and triglycerides.
Behavioral science has shown that one-on-one coaching is an effective approach to helping people make and sustain improvements in their lives. We offer custom coaching plans to focus on individual needs, values, beliefs, vision and goals.
We offer education on a wide variety of topics including weight management and nutrition, exercise and fitness, behavior change, cancer, cardiovascular health, stress management, the health risks of tobacco, and medical self-care. Contact us for details.
Wellness Book Clubs
Learn more about wellness by establishing a book club. Participants read a selected book on a health or wellness topic, followed with group or online discussions.
Eating well and living well go hand-in-hand. We can arrange for a registered dietitian to present a healthy menu to your team, and demonstrate how to prepare it.
Our Tobacco-free Individualized Plans (TIPS) program offers a variety of approaches to help your employees successfully kick the habit. Our certified treatment specialists understand tobacco addiction, nicotine withdrawal symptoms and effective treatments for tobacco use.
Weight Loss Challenges
These 12-week weight loss programs include an initial weigh-in; weekly, bi-weekly or quarterly weight-ins; and motivational tools. Your employees can compete as individuals or in teams.
Fitness Challenges and Demonstrations
Peer-supported fitness challenges are great morale boosters that encourage health and wellness. Our fitness experts can also demonstrate different types of exercises your employees can do at work, including stretching, cardiovascular fitness and more.
